About. Pavel Florensky

Rod Martinich — old aristocratic and bureaucratic kind, came from the clergy.
Some of the ancestors of the current Tartini depicted in the monuments of literature: Taratin Nikita S., 1551г, Pereslavl; a few Tartini — landowners, 1559г., Zvenigorod"*. SB.Veselovsky."Onomasticon," p. 312. I would love to know how our ancestors Tartini was in the North, when and how did this name, but in the beginning of the search it was for me a complete mystery. I'm also always interested to know what is the name of nee was my great-grandmother on the maternal side. Probably because my mother, Korobitsyna, Nina Stepanovna, with great warmth and love talked about his grandmother Elizabeth Herasimava Kosmidou (for the husband).  Elizabeth Harisovna of Cosmin was a homemaker, raising the children, were attentive, kind and affectionate with their children and grandchildren. Children in a family was seven (this I learned from archival documents, mother only talked about four). Having received home education, she was able to read and write. She was a very devout man.She was a great Bible, with Morocco binding with gold studs. And the most surprising (to me), she was able to sew a wonderful ragdoll that later helped her survive the children to Saratov, where they were in the circumstances, in the lean years. So, one day, how common is this word, and it is no coincidence, as the Great case helps us in our studies, looking at archival documents of the Cosmin Basil Celestinus, the eldest son of Elizabeth Karisimbi and Celestina V. Kozminykh, I came across a piece invested in the business. But it was hard to see anything, as it was folded in half and sewn into the paper. The staff of the archive has graciously allowed the case to embroider. When I straightened this piece, my joy knew no bounds. It was the official list of my great-grandfather on the maternal side, husband of Elizabeth Karisimbi, Cosmin Celestina Vasilyevich. This day was happy for me! In this document, all: a track record of great-grandfather with an indication of marital status, provided maiden name of his wife, my great-grandmother, where she came from, who was her father. Truly a rare stroke of luck! So I established whose daughter was my great-grandmother, and what was her maiden name.   Taratina Elizabeth Harisovna, was born in the village of Pinega Arkhangelsk province in a family of collegiate counselor, senior assistant pakgauznoe economy of the Arkhangelsk customs (later) officer of the first class, Charisima egorovicha Taratina. Bit by bit began to collect data on race Tartini. As it turned out, Tartini old noble family in the North of Russia, as the kind of Kozminykh are quite numerous. Was known with ХУ111 century (c 1730года), moved at the beginning of the 1 century. According to family legend, the family comes from the Novgorod pirates that arrived to the Arkhangelsk region on the eyelet (the ship) even in the XV century. Penetrating far to the North, contributed to the expansion of trade and colonies of Novgorod; they established settlements along the Northern Dvina, the Volga, Kama and Vyatka. — "They knocked down their friends on Ilmen-lake and walked on them, who at midnight, to the Student sea-ocean, who at sunrise, to the wild ridge of the Stone belt: they themselves sailed in the rook, they dragged themselves; leaked unexplored wilds and deserts; he took the arm of Lord Novgorod the Great whole, meyrueis, Chukhloma and other gloomy, bony forest people, cut goradze from the rough resinous logs and walked, walked, walked... “ But was then the other eyelet: the priests and the monks and missionaries, among whom were many Tartini, preaching Orthodoxy among the population. "And it was born not under the stuffed rumble of the Veche bell, but under the sweet humming sounds of Sophia - the Wisdom of God. Not in search of new lands, not for a lucrative piece of junk, a fish's tooth and fluffy fur of the beast the midnight jungle had sent her the bells, but that is a hundred times more for what not to buy was on a noisy market place in Novgorod, with the realization of the light of the wisdom of God, hidden in the silence of the desert. Went, searched and found... “ And the Solovetsky monastery was conceived in violent times, Novgorod pirates. The first human word spoken on the shores of her was, "Praise the name of the Lord now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen!"— tell ancient manuscript of the lives of the survivors from the treasure book chamber Solovki Archimandrite". Information about their ancestors Martinich I could find and for reference and in memorial books, and in the Address calendars in the Arkhangelsk province and in the archival documents. Savva Taratin legally St. Anthony-Siysky monastery is mentioned in 1745.

Each of them is a whole world, a unique world of absolute value, which you want to discover, learn and pass it on to your children, grandchildren, their descendants.
Cyrus V. COSMIN (*1841 Arkhangelsk — + p. 1917 SPb), which, in our opinion, is one of the brightest representatives known in the North of the extensive kind Козминых1, Russian, Orthodox, Counsellor, personal nobleman, hereditary nobleman of the Kazan province (1884года). He was born in priest's family in the third generation Ivanovich Vasily (Ivanovich) Cosmin, in 1841. He graduated from the Arkhangelsk theological Seminary in 1863.

According to the census of 1865, “Cosmin Cyrus V. 24, private gentleman, was in the public service in the Arkhangelsk region, held the position of assistant chief of the Pinezhsky district. Lived in the town of Pinega in the house of a tradesman Antonov Sosipatra”2. For 1867-1869gg. in data on appointments and movements of employees in archival Fund of the State Property the collegiate Registrar Kir Kozmin, the assistant to the accountant of Management of the state Property of the Arkhangelsk province appears. In 1867 (September 6) he was transferred to the Same position in the management of state Property of Kazan province. On the basis of the decisions of the office from 21.10.1869 was approved by the clerk* of the 2nd table of the same Управления3. In 1874 he was elected a member of the Kazan Zemstvo Council* * for a 4-year term (in the archival Fund of the Kazan Zemstvo Council preserved a personal list of its members), now titular adviser Cyrus Vasilyevich Kozmin4. In Kazan, he studied in detail the situation of peasants of the Kazan province and the reasons for difficulties in delivering bread to the North. This, I believe, was a terrible famine in the Arkhangelsk province in 1867 on the occasion of a bad harvest, which had to endure Kira Vasilievich Cosmin. Together with the peasants of the Pinega County he had to eat a surrogate of pine bark, white moss and bread crumb. In the province there were no stockpiles of bread, and to receive or to deliver it was not possible. The study of the situation of the peasants in Kazan province gave Kira Vasilievich Cosmin impetus and materials to provide the Kazan Zemstvo Assembly report on the measures to improve the economic life of peasants. And then and to reading of the report" about urgent needs of Northern our suburb " at a meeting of society for assistance of the Russian industry and trade and in this connection about construction of the railway Kazan-Kotelnich-Kotlas to provide to the population of Northern suburb opportunity to get for itself bread directly from producers on the Volga piers and bazaars. In the Newspapers there were reports on the report: the society is interested in this issue. Kir Vasilyevich Kozmin is the author of the railway project connecting Volga and Dvina: Kazan-Kotelnich-Kotlas, on which he worked for almost 40 years, submitted to them in 1894 and approved by the government. This project has put forward a number of issues that had not only local but of national importance. In the archival Fund of the Kazan provincial Zemstvo Council there is a telegram of Cyrus Kozmin from St. Petersburg to the above-mentioned Board of December 19, 1893 with support for the decision of Zemstvo to petition for the construction of the Kazan-Kotlas 5 railway. In 1903 Cyrus V. Cosmin made a note to the government about the economic benefits of the connection of the rivers Volga, Kama and Northern Dvina railroad from Kazan via Rzhev to the nearest station Perm-Kotlas railway. * The founder - the head of a stationery table, the category of state written Affairs. (V. I. Dal Explanatory dictionary of the Russian language). ** District Council established under the Provisions of the provinces and district Zemstvo agencies from 1.01.1864 years as the Executive bodies of the district Zemstvo assemblies. Was dissolved: by decision 1U Kazan provincial Congress of peasants ' deputies from 01.04.1918. (NART Kazan UZU, F. 119 units of storage.1396, 1865-1918). This issue was addressed a petition to the Emperor (1904) and a Memorandum note to the Prime Minister Pyotr Stolypin (1911гг.). In them he expressed and justified the idea of nationalization of bread trade in Russia. In January 1904 he appealed to the Minister of Finance, but the Ministry of Finance refused to Kira Kozmin in the project. And yet it probably didn't go unnoticed. In 1911, the Council of Ministers referred the draft to the Minister of communications. A Commission is created to select the direction of the road to the North. At the approval of the Commission there Kir Vasilyevich Kozmin as the initiator of this case was invited. For the first time on the railway connecting the bread Vyatka province with the Northern Dvina, spoke after a strong crop failure in 1867. Arkhangelsk Governor Nikolai Alexandrovich Kachalov (1869-1870) wrote: — "the opening of the Vyatsko-Dvinskaya railway will develop the selling trade of the Arkhangelsk port to remarkable sizes. The discovery of this iron path, the merchant is waiting with the greatest impatience. Only with the opening of this road will it be possible to obtain bread at any time; the population will be provided with food, and the government will be removed from the dire need to maintain a permanent supply of bread and to issue in the food allowance in poor years a significant amount.... Since its discovery develop selling of forests from the state-owned dachas, how to expand overseas holidays and shipbuilding and salt production. For all these reasons, the road should be considered as the most powerful tool for revitalisation of the whole of the North." GAAO F. 1.Op.9. D. 504 L. 5-6; 130-131. In 1913, in the Arkhangelsk eparchial Vedomosti reported: "At the present time by C. V. Cosmin planned to build a new railway line from the station Samara, Samara-Zlatoust - tulskoy road to Yaransk, Vyatka province through the Kama river between the years by Liselim and Chertopolokh, between Nikolsk and Shenkursk and Upominkow Marina on the lip of the Dvina, near Archangel. The entire railway will be 1800 versts " 6. But, probably, because of the war of 1914, the construction issue was suspended. Kir Vasilyevich Kozmin was an extraordinary man, versatile and broad-minded, deeply interested in the history of the Northern region, was his true patriot. Had a reward. Often published in the"news of the Arkhangelsk Society for the study of the Russian North."
